I gained most of my initial journalistic experience at the Daily Texan, UT's daily newspaper. I currently write for Examiner.com as the "Web Examiner," and also have had the privilege to be a part of ABC's starting lineup of ABC News on Campus. I have had the honor of interviewing the likes of Morgan Spurlock and Saul Williams, as well as live-blogging the Democratic Party presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in the past election season.

But most of all, I enjoy my independent projects. She-roes is a podcasting project I did interviewing rape survivors --letting them tell their stories for the sake of their own empowerment. At UT, four friends and I started an alternative blog about the school to counter the mainstream campus media. I am currently working on a Web art project called "Detour Project."
