Hello and welcome.

My name is Chelsey Delaney. I am 20 years old and originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. I currently live in Austin, Texas. I am a writer, designer, artist, and multimedia journalist.

What I'm About.

An only child like myself must pursue lots of interests to stay busy. The things I enjoy most are writing within the areas of poetry and blogging, and music. I play five different instruments, with my most current fascination being the sitar, which I have played for two years now. I enjoy listening to independent hip-hop, blues, jazz, and classic rock.

I have an undying passion for urban art and urban design. My admiration for modern styles plays out in many of my design pieces. I am extremely goal-oriented and a die-hard perfectionist with my chart-topping strength being innovation.

Schooling.

I am currently an honor student at the University of Texas at Austin with a major in multimedia journalism and an "unofficial minor" in women's and gender studies.

Skills.

I am completely proficient in XHTML and CSS, and have a limited knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and Action script. I have a thorough knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Macromedia Flash. I have had plentiful experience with content management systems, particularly Wordpress and a bit with Drupal. I have the capability to program widgets and software applications (i.e. Facebook applications).
