My name is Chelsey Delaney and I recently graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in multimedia journalism. I will attend Carnegie Mellon University to receive an MFA in Communication Planning and Interaction Design in fall 2009.
I am originally from a small town north of Corpus Christi, Texas called Bayside, Texas, which has a population of 300 people. The boredom that ensued birthed my current hobbies. I love reading and writing poetry, and I play five different instruments including my current love, the sitar.
Much of my work can be found online. I write a daily column for the National Examiner, and was a multimedia reporter for the brand new ABC News on Campus bureau at UT until the beginning of May 2009. I have also done a number of freelance Web design jobs, and was a Web design consultant for Texas Student Media, which runs all student publications at the University of Texas.
